EMPIRE ARTS at Art Fair Tokyo 2020

Visual artists Shinpei Kashihara and Chika Takei will present contrasting works at the Tokyo International Forum for our inaugural appearance at the international art exhibition and market Art Fair Tokyo, the largest event of its kind in Japan.

Based in New York, Tokyo, and Hong Kong, Empire Entertainment is an event production company that provides casting and event services around the world. Empire’s Artist Management division was launched in 2015 and draws upon a broad international network, now featuring 22 unique artists including body and 3D trick artists, video artists, musicians, and stage performers. In the company’s latest endeavor to develop new entertainment concepts and design experiences to thrill and inspire, Empire now comes to Art Fair Tokyo for the first time to introduce two talented young artists: painter Shinpei Kashihara and illustrator Chika Takei. Empire presents a new way to enjoy their art using the latest augmented reality technology, celebrating these two artists’ contrasting styles with Empire’s characteristic playfulness through an app that challenges patrons to think beyond their senses and look beyond the frame.
