BLACK’s journey to yo-yo mastery took him to TED Conference 2013 where he was the only Japanese speaker.

He presents in Japanese and English though the most eloquent talkers are the yo-yos in his hands. Strongly connected with his Japanese roots and upbringing, his drive and passion have enabled him to transform what many see as a kid’s pastime into a multi-faceted performance art.
