Mr. Yabatan

Mr. Yabatan is a Norwegian comedian and video creator, currently residing in Japan.
He became interested in Japanese culture at an early age and has been studying Japanese since then, which led to his breakthrough on social networking sites after posting funny imitation videos on Instagram in Japanese.
His funny videos, in which he travels around Japan and shares Japanese culture and food from his unique point of view, have been getting a lot of buzz and attention in Japan and around the world.

Some catchphrases that often appeared in the videos, such as "I was really surprised" and "Gabugabu (=love love)", became very popular among his young fans.
His goal of content creation is to bring smiles and happiness to people by simply taking selfies with a smartphone and interacting with people on the streets, mainly in Harajuku and Shibuya.
He has over 2.5 million followers on all social networking sites and is currently expanding his activities to include TV and PR.
