Kurt Wenner 3D Art in Fiji
Nadi International Airport, Nadi, Fiji, Fiji Airways
Winter 2018
Nadi, Fiji
To commemorate the opening of the airline's new business class lounge, Fiji Airways hired Empire Artist Kurt Wenner to create an original 3D artwork at Fiji's Nadi International Airport. Wenner has so far created his trademark 3D artwork in over fifty countries, but this was the first-ever 3D pavement art project in Fiji.
In this first-ever work of its kind in Fiji, the project was an enormous success with the Fijian hosts and guests as three large panels joined together to create a single forty square meter scene, giving guests the chance to become a part of the image and create memories tied to the comfortable Fiji Airways business class experience.
Master Artist Kurt Wenner is known for his unique style of 3D pavement art, a whimsical technique of his own invention that brings flat floors and walls to fantastic life through interactive experiential displays. Kurt Wenner is available for bookings around the world, ranging from new custom installations like the one in Fiji to licensing of existing works for museums and galleries, and anything in between.
